# Cursor CLI

> Discover the Cursor CLI and report its sessions to Nasiko.

Nasiko treats the Cursor CLI (`cursor-agent`) as a coding harness. Discovery and session reporting use Cursor's hook events. **Model routing is not available** for Cursor: `nasiko connect cursor` is not a command. Developers keep using Cursor's own model settings.

| | |
| - | - |
| Binary | `cursor-agent` |
| Config directory | `$CURSOR_CONFIG_DIR`, else `$XDG_CONFIG_HOME/cursor`, else `~/.cursor` |
| Session reporting | Yes (`beforeSubmitPrompt`, `afterAgentResponse`, `stop`, `preToolUse`, `postToolUse`, `postToolUseFailure`; hook version v2) |
| Model routing | No |

## Discover and report

```bash theme={null}
nasiko agents discover
nasiko agents install cursor
nasiko agents install cursor --no-content
```

Install writes Nasiko command hooks into `hooks.json` in the Cursor config directory. Existing hooks stay. Uninstall removes only the Nasiko entries.

Cursor turns arrive across several hook events. Nasiko assembles them under `~/.nasiko/integrations/events/` and queues a turn once it is complete. See [Session reporting](/coding-agents/session-reporting).

After install, keep using `cursor-agent` the way you always do. Completed turns show up in **Sessions** and in [TokenOps](/tokenops/dashboard) under the **Cursor (`<your email>`)** agent.

## What you cannot do

```bash theme={null}
nasiko connect cursor     # not supported
nasiko status cursor      # not a routing target
nasiko disconnect cursor  # not supported
```

Routing targets are `claude`, `codex`, and `opencode` only. Cursor spend is still attributed when reporting is installed, using whatever model Cursor itself called.

## Identity in Nasiko

Registration creates a coding-agent identity named `<username>-cursor`, labelled **Cursor (`<your email>`)** in the dashboard. The agent page has no **Configure** or **Logs** tab — nothing runs on Nasiko for a coding agent.

## Troubleshooting

| Symptom | What to check |
| - | - |
| `DETECTED` is `-` | `cursor-agent` is not on `PATH` and no Cursor config directory exists. The Cursor **editor** is not the same as the Cursor CLI. |
| Turns never appear | Confirm hooks in the Cursor `hooks.json`. Run `nasiko agents sync`. Check `~/.nasiko/integrations/report.log`. |
| Want to change Cursor's model | Change it in Cursor. Nasiko does not intercept Cursor model calls. |
