# Upload a source archive and synchronously build + deploy it as an agent.

> Meant to be quick and direct, not production-grade robust: unlike its
sibling `/api/agents/upload` (`oss/server/src/agents/upload.rs`), which is
asynchronous, tracked via `upload_status`, and retried on failure through
a real job queue, this runs the whole build-and-deploy pipeline
synchronously inside the request handler, with no progress tracking and
no retry — you get a response once the build either finishes or fails,
and that's it.
